Telemedicine Prosecutions—Lessons Learned and Practical Tips

In spring 2019, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and several law enforcement agencies announced actions one of the largest enforcement actions ever involving telehealth and telemedicine schemes. Many of the resulting prosecutions continue to work their way through the courts. Meanwhile, telehealth issues continue to be a major focus at DOJ.
